Imperator is a unique wine made from the Vranec grape variety, later harvested from Bovin's own vineyards. Wine with a deep dark red-black and an intense aroma of wild fruits such as blueberries, blackthorn, blackberries and sour cherries. The taste follows the aroma and is strong and fresh.

Wein mit tiefem Dunkelrot-Schwarz und intensivem Aroma nach Wildfrüchten wie Blaubeeren, Schwarzdorn, Brombeeren und Sauerkirschen. Der Geschmack folgt dem Aroma und ist kräftig und frisch.

Imperator è un vino unico ottenuto dal vitigno Vranec, successivamente raccolto dai vigneti di Bovin. Vino dal colore rosso scuro-nero intenso e dal profumo intenso di frutti di bosco come mirtilli, prugnolo, more e amarene. Il gusto segue l'aroma ed è deciso e fresco.

Imperator est un vin unique élaboré à partir du cépage Vranec, récolté plus tard dans les propres vignobles de Bovin. Vin avec un rouge-noir foncé profond et un arôme intense de fruits sauvages comme les myrtilles, le prunellier, les mûres et les cerises aigres. Le goût suit l'arôme et est fort et frais.

Император е уникатно вино направено од сортата грозје Вранец, подоцна собрано од лозовите насади на Бовин. Вино со длабоко темно црвено-црно и интензивна арома на диви плодови како што се боровинки, црномур, капини и вишни. Вкусот ја следи аромата и е силен и свеж.

Tikveš Wine Region

The Tikveš wine sub-region is situated on the same longitude as Toscana in Italy, Bordeaux in France and the Napa valley in the USA. It is one of the biggest regions in Macedonia by square area and it is situated at latitude of 41-42˚. The climate is mixed, Continental-Mediterranean. The south of the Tikveš region is dominated by a Mediterranean climate featuring long and hot summers.

To the north there is a predominant continental climate with mild and wet winters. The mean annual temperature is 13.3˚C, while during the vegetation period it is 18˚C. In the summer the temperature may reach over 40˚C. The mean precipitation during the vegetation period amounts to 300-500 mm.

The Tikveš region is “protected” on three sides by mountains which prevent the northern winds from reaching the vineyards. The following types of soil prevail in the Tikves region: Rendzina, Vertisol, deluvial, alluvial soil and Terra Rosa.

Bovin

Established in 1998, as a first family owned winery in Macedonia, Bovin Winery in Negotino has continually grown to reach an overall annual output of 1.2 million liters of wine. Under the direction of the Winery’s professional management team this ambitious objective was reached in 2008.

Bovin’s quality driven strategy of targeting the domestic market’s high-end consumers has paid the dividend of increasing exports by a factor of ten. Bovin wines are now found in Europe, North America, Arica and Asia.
