CABERNET SAUVIGNON SUPERIOR WINE has a purple-red color that is typical of Cabernet from carbon-rich soils.

Selected vintage of semi-dried grapes from the south-western slopes of Lepovo Brdo.

Full taste, juicy, with a scent of honey, berries and elegant spicy tones. The taste is soft, round, balanced and long-lasting.

The richness of polyphenols, especially soft tannins, enables longer storage at cellar temperature.

Ausgewählter Jahrgang von halbgetrockneten Weintrauben aus den südwestlichen Hängen von Lepovo Brdo.

Voller Geschmack, saftig, mit einem Duft von Honig, Beeren und eleganten würzigen Tönen. Der Geschmack ist weich, rund, ausgewogen und lang anhaltend.

Der Reichtum an Polyphenolen, insbesondere weichen Tanninen, ermöglicht eine längere Lagerung bei Kellertemperatur.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON SUPERIOR WINE ha un colore rosso porpora tipico del Cabernet proveniente da terreni ricchi di carbonio.


Annata selezionata di uve semi appassite provenienti dalle pendici sud-occidentali del Lepovo Brdo.


Gusto pieno, succoso, con profumo di miele, frutti di bosco ed eleganti toni speziati. Il gusto è morbido, rotondo, equilibrato e di lunga persistenza.


La ricchezza dei polifenoli, soprattutto dei tannini morbidi, consente una conservazione più lunga a temperatura di cantina.

Tikveš Wine Region

The Tikveš wine sub-region is situated on the same longitude as Toscana in Italy, Bordeaux in France and the Napa valley in the USA. It is one of the biggest regions in Macedonia by square area and it is situated at latitude of 41-42˚. The climate is mixed, Continental-Mediterranean. The south of the Tikveš region is dominated by a Mediterranean climate featuring long and hot summers.

To the north there is a predominant continental climate with mild and wet winters. The mean annual temperature is 13.3˚C, while during the vegetation period it is 18˚C. In the summer the temperature may reach over 40˚C. The mean precipitation during the vegetation period amounts to 300-500 mm.

The Tikveš region is “protected” on three sides by mountains which prevent the northern winds from reaching the vineyards. The following types of soil prevail in the Tikves region: Rendzina, Vertisol, deluvial, alluvial soil and Terra Rosa.

Bovin

Established in 1998, as a first family owned winery in Macedonia, Bovin Winery in Negotino has continually grown to reach an overall annual output of 1.2 million liters of wine. Under the direction of the Winery’s professional management team this ambitious objective was reached in 2008.

Bovin’s quality driven strategy of targeting the domestic market’s high-end consumers has paid the dividend of increasing exports by a factor of ten. Bovin wines are now found in Europe, North America, Arica and Asia.
