MERLOT comes from the variety of the same name and is produced in our vineyard with a reduced yield. The bright ruby red color with a complex aroma reminiscent of red berries is accompanied by herbal notes and undertones of vanilla, which arise from months of aging in oak barrels. The taste is full, with soft tannins and a lingering aftertaste.

Der Geschmack ist voll, mit weichen Tanninen und einem lang anhaltenden Nachgeschmack.
Prevod Italijanski	Maturato per 6 mesi in botti di rovere. MERLOT nasce dalla varietà omonima ed è prodotto nel nostro vigneto con una resa ridotta. Il colore rosso rubino brillante con un profumo complesso che ricorda i frutti rossi è accompagnato da note erbacee e sfumature di vaniglia, che derivano da mesi di affinamento in botti di rovere. Il gusto è pieno, con tannini morbidi e retrogusto persistente.
Prevod Francuski	Elevage de 6 mois en fûts de chêne. MERLOT provient de la variété du même nom et est produit dans notre vignoble avec un rendement réduit. La couleur rouge rubis brillant avec un arôme complexe rappelant les fruits rouges est accompagnée de notes herbacées et de nuances de vanille, qui résultent de mois de vieillissement en fûts de chêne. Le goût est plein, avec des tanins souples et un arrière-goût persistant.

Tikveš Wine Region

The Tikveš wine sub-region is situated on the same longitude as Toscana in Italy, Bordeaux in France and the Napa valley in the USA. It is one of the biggest regions in Macedonia by square area and it is situated at latitude of 41-42˚. The climate is mixed, Continental-Mediterranean. The south of the Tikveš region is dominated by a Mediterranean climate featuring long and hot summers.

To the north there is a predominant continental climate with mild and wet winters. The mean annual temperature is 13.3˚C, while during the vegetation period it is 18˚C. In the summer the temperature may reach over 40˚C. The mean precipitation during the vegetation period amounts to 300-500 mm.

The Tikveš region is “protected” on three sides by mountains which prevent the northern winds from reaching the vineyards. The following types of soil prevail in the Tikves region: Rendzina, Vertisol, deluvial, alluvial soil and Terra Rosa.
